ABOUT THE TEAM 

At Beamery Edge, our goal is to create a leading data and computational environment that enables large-scale experiments utilising our unique access to data. We focus on combining data, analytics, and science to provide solutions for our clients. A key aspect of our work is building a multimodal knowledge base that leverages structured and unstructured sources for exploration.

We are seeking talented and diverse contributors to join our team with a strong technical background. You must have experience in a tech scale-up environment. We are looking for experts in machine learning and natural language processing who are excited by the challenges of automated knowledge base construction, including information extraction, entity resolution, graph-based embedding/prediction, and search. This role involves leveraging state-of-the-art models for these tasks and developing new methods to provide actionable data to our clients. It is an exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge and curiosity and work within a global community.

As a hands-on position, you will have the freedom to be creative, ambitious, and bold, tackling novel R&D problems with the potential to directly impact our clients. We have an impressive toolkit and world-class data, and we are seeking talented individuals to join us.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AT BEAMERY

🚀 Develop and productionise AI systems and ML models specialising in semi-structured textual data.

🚀 Work with highly connected data and exploit relationships in the Beamery Knowledge Graph to build foundational models.

🚀 Build systems that automate the refinement and enrichment of a knowledge base.

🚀 Mentor and coach the data science team.

🚀 Stay current with cutting-edge AI research and proactively apply new approaches.

🚀 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and provide data-driven solutions.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

🚀 Data science professional with a strong business understanding and a focus on NLP.

🚀 Proven experience leading ML projects across the full lifecycle.

🚀 Comfortable dealing with uncertainty and pre-market product ideas.

🚀 Deep expertise in natural language processing.

🚀 Deep understanding with the new generation of Large Language Models.

🚀 Familiarity with the search and recommendation problem space.

🚀 Experience with Retrieval-Augmented-Generation systems is a plus.

🚀 Strong technical leadership, communication skills, and mentoring experience.

🚀 Strong understanding of software development processes and tools, including ETL pipelines, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.

🚀 Ability to work collaboratively with data scientists, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
