Sr. IoT Solution Engineer 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish an IoT platform strategy for China, including the setup and cloud hosting services required to achieve key outcomes.
• Identify and participate in the selection of new technologies and maintain partner relationships.
• Lead an agile product team to enhance and support the IoT platform
• Work with product owner and program management to manage the product backlog, project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Identify local customer needs and independently develop application features tailored to meet local business requirements.
• Formulate epics, user stories and features, translating these to tasks for sprint planning.
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug platform issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Anticipate and address obstacles impacting team success.
• Provide guidance for technical design and architecture decisions within and across teams.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience solving technical challenges or implementing software solutions.
• Strong understanding and demonstrated use of software development methodologies (e.g. GxP software experience.
• Prior experience in software development, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated industry related software development experience is a plus. Implementation experience in cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, and the Google Cloud Platform
• Strong problem-solving, decision making, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and with external vendors.
• PTC ThingWorx or IoT platform experience is a plus.
