Product & Pipeline Platform Technical Architect 

Bayer U.S. LLC’s Creve Coeur, MO, office seeks a Product & Pipeline Platform Technical Architect. This is a hybrid office/work-from-home position to contribute to the alignment of the IT strategy with the business goals and objectives, build the roadmap for overall IT landscape or parts of it based on the IT strategy. Will partner with Product team supporting the R&D Development Centers with Lab (LIMS) solutions, the development of architectural solutions as part of an overall IT architecture. Lead the design, modeling of architectural views and deployment strategies. Design Database architecture, telemetry support systems for logging and metrics reporting. Develop and maintain IT architecture artifacts; create business process models, workflows and interaction diagrams that effectively convey the interworking of complex business processes.

This is a hybrid office/work-from-home position that requires the employee to be able to work in our Creve Coeur, MO, office two (2) days per week and as needed based on project demands.

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.

Will also accept a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related position.

Experience must include three (3) years with: (i) building IT architecture and roadmaps; (ii) working and supporting R&D functions, developing Lab (LIMS) systems; (iii) cloud and cloud-native solutions such as AWS, microservices and APIs; (iv) defining architecture and non-functional requirements; (v) hardware, software, application, or systems engineering; (vi) full software development life cycle (SDLC) - requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support; (vii) working with data, defining the data model and design databases; and (viii) designing and developing complex application software.

This is a hybrid office/work-from-home position that requires the employee to be able to work in our Creve Coeur, MO, office two (2) days per week and as needed based on project demands.

Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally to various unanticipated employer and client locations up to 10%.

Experience can be concurrent.
