The Project Manager, HR Operations leads Human Resources projects and operational initiatives from planning through implementation, partnering with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. This role drives process improvement, operational excellence, standardization, and technology implementation to improve HR operations and the employee experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead HR projects, including project plans, timelines, resources, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Provide regular project updates and communications to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and drive accountability.
  • Help implement HR process improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Partner with HR leaders to identify opportunities for operational improvements and enhanced efficiencies.
  • Standardize HR workflows and practices across departments and business units.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, and other HR functions.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and KPI metrics to measure project performance and operational outcomes.
  • Analyze trends and data to provide recommendations for decision-making and strategic planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Human Resources, healthcare, or shared services experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/Agile, or Prosci Change Management certification preferred.
