Responsibilities

  • Code solutions and unit tests to deliver complex software requirements and a requirement /story per the acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

  • Participate in the delivery /release (CI-CD) events and estimate work necessary to realize a story /requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

  • Perform spike /proof of concept to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

  • Design and develop client requirements using multiple architectural components.

  • Contribute to existing test suites, analyze test reports identifying test issues /errors, and triage underlying causes.

  • Coordinate with team for impact assessment of new features/enhancements to be implemented in application with details of execution plan.

  • Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Kubernetes, KAFKA, Oracle, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment.

  • Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, Hadoop, PEGA, Mulesoft, IBM ODM, ORACLE, SQL SERVER, and Kafka.

  • Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using, Java J2EE with Spring MVC Spring BOOT, Mulesoft, IBM ODM, PEGA and DB2-Iseries.

  • Use Jenkins, Bit Bucket, Maven to facilitate workflow and implement Continuous integration and continuous deployment.

  • Coordinate impact assessment of new features /enhancements to be implemented in application with details of execution plan.

  • Perform end to end analysis of business requirements by engaging with stakeholders and utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Kubernetes, KAFKA, Oracle, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment;

  • Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, Hadoop, PEGA, Mulesoft, IBM ODM, ORACLE, SQL SERVER, and Kafka;
