What We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a Software Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2025 who is hungry for real-world experience on our Bandwidth Voice dev team. We're seeking somebody who loves building things, loves learning things, and aspires to be a great engineer in the future. Ideally, we'll find somebody who comes back to work with us full time upon graduation.

What You'll Do:

You’ll be discovering how AI and machine learning can help us to improve calling for our customers and optimize our telephony network. Understanding large data sets and learning how to apply these technologies to them will be critical in determining how best they will bring value to our end users. If these types of problem sets interest you, we’d like to talk to you!

What You Need:

If you’re our person, you probably look like this: 

• Working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an equivalent course of study 
• You have knowledge around AI and machine learning and are looking to apply them in real world applications 
• You’re not afraid to experiment with new technologies 
• You’re passionate about the craft of software engineering 
• You’re excited learning about both relational and non-relational database technologies

Bonus Points:

Wow, it’d be really great if also: 

• You work with new and exciting technologies in your spare time 
• You have experience in developing products in an Agile development environment
• You have a high-level understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud services 
• You have a high-level understanding of data ingestion pipelines for real-time analytics
• You have a high-level understanding of modern, streaming technologies
• You have a high-level understanding of designing, creating, and working with RESTful APIs
