Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with a specialization in data architecture to join our forward-thinking team. The role demands an expert with a deep understanding of data integration within complex system architectures, proficient in designing and managing data strategies while adhering to engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in data engineering and architecture, demonstrating foresight in technological advancements, particularly in scalable data solutions and advanced data processing frameworks.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust data architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, compliance, and optimal performance.
  • Develop and integrate sophisticated data strategies into the technology development process, aligning with business objectives and overseeing architectural decisions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on data architecture, making strategic decisions to establish best practices in data management.
  • Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies within the data architecture landscape, advancing data processing and storage strategies.
  • Cultivate a culture of data excellence, mentoring team members, and enhancing the team’s overall data engineering capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with a broad range of data technologies, platforms, and languages, such as SQL, Python, Java, and data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Demonstrated expertise in modern data architecture principles, including data lakes, data warehousing, ETL processes, and real-time data processing.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies tailored for data-centric projects, with a focus on iterative development and deployment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing data-driven projects, aligning them with strategic business goals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively across various departments.
  • A strategic mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

COVID 19
