Graphic Designer

Location: Remote

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join a full-service creative and strategic agency dedicated to helping startups and growing businesses make a powerful first impression. By integrating branding, visual content creation, and strategic growth into one cohesive system, the agency empowers founders to launch with a distinct brand identity, professional digital presence, and market-ready positioning.

In this role, your primary focus will be transforming raw images, copy, ideas, and simple briefs into high-converting, visually stunning social media content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other key channels. Working directly with the Social Media Manager and marketing team, you will elevate brand consistency, suggest creative concepts, and design additional marketing collateral (ranging from pitch decks and brochures to one-pagers).

Part-time: 10 hours per week (with opportunity to grow into more hours)
Remote: Fully remote (CET working hours)
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (client based in Switzerland)
Monthly Rate: $250-350 (based on a 10-hour workweek; flexible depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Asset Creation: Turn images, copy, and creative briefs into engaging social media content, designing Instagram posts, Stories, Reels covers, multi-slide carousels, and LinkedIn graphics.
• Independent Execution & Ideation: Take relatively simple briefs (e.g., raw photo + text snippet + general idea) and independently build polished, platform-appropriate visual assets while proactively proposing visual concept improvements.
• Brand Identity & Template Management: Maintain consistency across typography, layouts, color palettes, and imagery guidelines. Organize and manage editable design files, asset libraries, and reusable templates in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Marketing Collateral & Presentation Design: Design supplementary marketing materials, including presentation decks, flyers, digital brochures, one-pagers, and launch assets.
• AI-Assisted Workflow Integration: Leverage AI-assisted creative tools (such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Photoshop Generative Fill) to accelerate asset production, image expansion, and visual execution.

Role Requirements:

• 4+ Years of Professional Design Experience: Proven background in visual graphic design with a strong focus on digital and social media content.
• Dual Design Suite Proficiency: Required mastery of Canva (creating and maintaining branded templates) combined with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Platform-Specific Design Knowledge: Strong visual understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, typography, and platform nuances that drive engagement on Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Strong Portfolio: A showcase demonstrating high-quality social media design (posts, Stories, carousels) and digital marketing collateral.
• Flawless Communication & Ownership: Excellent written and spoken English, strong organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines, and the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience designing for startups, B2B brands, professional services, healthcare, beauty, e-commerce, or commercial businesses.
• Basic knowledge of video/motion design tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, or After Effects).
• Experience using Figma or social publishing tools like Meta Business Suite.
