As an FEA Analysis Engineer, you will work within the Flexible Pipe Systems Engineering team, providing analysis engineering support from bid acquisition through to project execution. You will use engineering analysis and simulation tools to evaluate flexible riser systems and develop solutions for major global subsea projects.

You will create and interpret simulation models to predict structural response, loading, and performance under offshore operating conditions. Working closely with other engineering functions, you will help define technical solutions and ensure analysis activities bring value throughout tender and project execution.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural mechanics, flexible riser systems, and offshore engineering. Full training will be provided on relevant software tools, products, and engineering methodologies.

As an FEA Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating dynamic models using FEA software to simulate structural response in offshore environments.
• Designing and analysing flexible riser systems in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Assessing environmental, vessel, and operating data for implementation into engineering models.
• Performing structural engineering analysis, including loading, stress, and buckling assessments.
• Processing, interpreting, and validating engineering analysis results.
• Producing comprehensive technical and analysis reports for studies and project execution.
• Supporting continuous improvement and engineering automation initiatives.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Aerospace Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Have academic, internship, or professional experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), numerical modelling, or engineering simulation.
• Have an understanding of structural mechanics, stress analysis, dynamic analysis, or buckling behaviour.
• Have experience using engineering analysis or simulation software, with training provided on role-specific tools.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical data.
• Have the ability to communicate technical findings through reports and engineering documentation.
• Be able to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Have a permanent right to work in the UK.
