Cloud EngineerThe Opportunity:
Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.
You Have:
5+ years of experience with management of DoD cloud environments, including AWS
3+ years of experience with system administration of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Experience with the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms
Experience with the back-end configurations of Splunk, ACAS, Trellix, and F5
Experience with networking, security groups, and policy management for cloud resources across multiple operating systems, including Linux and Windows
Experience with monitoring, including with Splunk, maintenance, and security of critical infrastructure components
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) best practices and how to layer mature solutions
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience leading a team of cloud professionals on one or more projects or efforts
Experience working with DoD accreditation processes
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps for designing, developing, and delivering using appropriate automation techniques or tools
Ability to work through challenging security requirements and maintain compliance
Ability to decompose complex problems and use cases for external stakeholders and internal teams
TS/SCI clearance
AWS or Azure Certification
DoD ESS 201/301 Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
