Job Responsibilities
⦁ Lead the development of embedded space payload applications
⦁ Design software architectures for new programs
⦁ Shape future proposal efforts
⦁ Communicate technical information in consumable formats to internal and external audiences
⦁ Mentor & empower rising software engineers
⦁ Collaborate across sites and across disciplines

Due to the importance, this position offers a Sign-On Bonus. (Note: Current BAE Systems employees are ineligible for sign-on bonuses.)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required:

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• 15+ years of software and leadership experience
• Familiarity with RF and software-defined radios
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Previous experience leading space programs
• Familiarity with automated build pipelines such as, gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
• Familiarity with OpenC3's COSMOS (https://openc3.com/)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
