We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across modern platforms. This role will play a critical part in protecting cloud infrastructure, applications, and data while enabling scalable and secure business operations across multi-cloud and AI-driven environments.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards
- Assess cloud environments for vulnerabilities, risks, and misconfigurations; recommend and implement remediation strategies
- Develop and enforce cloud security architecture, policies, standards, and guidance
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Monitor cloud systems for threats using SIEM, CSPM, and cloud-native security tools
- Lead incident response efforts related to cloud security events and support forensic investigations
- Automate security processes (e.g., infrastructure as code, security testing, compliance checks)
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, cloud technologies, and evolving security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong focus on cloud security
- Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS); multi-cloud experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, identity and access management (IAM), networking, and encryption
- Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and automation tools
- Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security is a plus
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
Preferred Experience
- Experience securing AI/ML workloads, data platforms, or modern application architectures
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and cloud-native security solutions
- Experience with threat modeling and secure software design
