We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead a highly skilled and innovative engineering group. This        group is responsible for designing, building, and scaling critical backend capabilities that powers Axonius’s    products and services. If you’re a passionate engineering leader who thrives in solving complex problems and enabling teams to deliver impactful solutions, we’d love to meet you.

What your day will look like

• Managing multiple backend development teams in fast-paced environments.
• Develop and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable software.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through our product development, design, and deployment.
• As a member of the company's Engineering management, contribute to the company's engineering culture by implementing best engineering practices.
• Mentor and support the growth of team leaders, individual contributors, and tech leads.
• Lead complex engineering situations and push for continuous improvement.
• Manage the group's metrics and KPIs based on R&D and company goals.
• Create, recruit, and manage a world-class team of software engineers and technical leaders.
• Help your engineers and technical leads improve their skills and experience.
• Develop and maintain an engineering culture focused on execution, quality, mentorship, and open feedback.
• Establish clear and appropriate processes within and across teams.
• Build solutions for complex, large scale problems spanning over lots of different technologies like APIs and Networking, Python, Docker, MongoDB, and cloud environments.

Reach Out If You Are

• Experience in engineering management with a proven track record of success.
• Research/development experience in software (Python, MongoDB, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure, Windows/Linux).
• A proven record in highly available production systems.
• Recruitment and Training skills - Recruiting team leaders and developers.
• A proven record in remote management.
• Proven experience working with other departments such as - product, engineering, operations, customer success.
• Fast learner, able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent English, written, and verbal communication.
