You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and make data accessible, driving data-driven decisions through innovative solutions. This role also involves leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Your Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Build and optimize data architectures and databases to support data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, including coding standards, testing, and version control.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, backend developers, and the product team to enable advanced analytics and machine learning workflows.
- Develop and enforce data governance and security standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our data capabilities.
