Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will architect, develop, and oversee the evolution of robust and scalable backend solutions that drive our business forward. You will leverage your deep expertise in backend engineering, cloud computing, and distributed systems to solve complex problems and lead technical initiatives. As a senior member of our team, you will mentor junior engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology remains cutting edge and highly performant.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Lead the development and deployment of cloud-native solutions on platforms such as AWS, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Apply advanced object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns to create clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Oversee the optimization of SQL queries, database designs, and data access layers for maximum performance.
- Manage concurrency, multithreading, and distributed systems to efficiently handle high-volume user demands.
- Drive technical strategy and establish best practices across the engineering team.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, operations, and QA—to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed design and architecture documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.
- Evaluate emerging trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain modern and competitive.
