As a Senior Front End Developer here at Awardco, you will work closely with our Creative department and our other Developers to create captivating user interfaces. You will play an integral part in the development of our product.

What you will do: 

  • Feature Development: Lead the development and implementation of new features using Vue.js, ensuring scalable and modular code.
  • Code Optimization: Improve overall product performance by optimizing existing workflows and code blocks.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and other key stakeholders to build and enhance user interfaces.
  • Code Quality: Write efficient, semantic, and standards-compliant JavaScript. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the product.
  • Leadership: Display strong leadership qualities, guiding the team through complex projects and fostering a collaborative environment.

What you will bring:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio of complex web applications. Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Extensive hands-on experience with Vue.js or other JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git), front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel), and debugging tools.
  • Design Collaboration: Experience working closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Strong understanding of design principles.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Advanced Frameworks: Experience with advanced state management libraries (e.g., Vuex) 
  • Performance Tuning: Expertise in front-end performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
  • Testing: Proficient in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
