 We are seeking a motivated Staff QA Engineer to join our Security and Platform QA team. The successful candidate will deeply engage in the full software testing cycle – participating in product design reviews, preparing test plans, executing tests, and designing end-to-end test automation, specifically within various cloud environments. This role demands a strong foundation in networking principles, security principles, familiarity with public cloud infrastructures, and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

LOCATION:  Aviatrix Systems India Private Limited 02-103, 2nd floor, WeWork Princeville, Embassy Golf Links Business Park Challaghatta, Bengaluru

Work Model: In-Office Preferred (3 days in office)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Software Engineers: Work closely with software engineers to test and automate the testing of Aviatrix's products.
• Enhance Test Coverage: Focus on white-box, end-to-end, and scale testing to enhance test coverage.
• Troubleshoot Network Issues: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
• Refine Product Designs: Collaborate with engineering teams to refine product designs based on test outcomes.
• Develop Testing Documentation: Develop and maintain testing documentation and reports.
• Stay Updated: Stay current with technological developments in cloud networking and performance testing.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a networking-focused role, with a strong grasp of network protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS/TCP/IP/UDP etc. 
• Experience testing Network security platforms, threat detection, IDS/IPS platforms. 
• Cloud Platform Proficiency: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
• Linux and Scripting Skills: Proficient in Linux environments and capable of scripting in Python, Shell, or similar languages.
• Performance Testing Tools: Practical knowledge of network performance testing tools such as iperf/Ixia
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
