Avery Dennison is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within a global organization. The successful candidate will work closely with category managers, supporting various aspects of the indirect procurement process, including RFX activities, spend analysis, and contract management.

• RFX Project Management:
  • Assist category managers in the preparation and execution of RFI / RFQ / RFP 
  • Ensure project success by taking ownership of timelines, proactively driving follow-up actions, and collecting supplier responses
  • Assist in the evaluation and comparison of supplier proposals.
• Contract Negotiation and Management:
  • Support category managers with contract negotiation, contract workflows, including document preparation and review
  • Maintain contract documentation and repositories
  • Assist in tracking contract renewals and expirations
• General Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the indirect procurement team
  • Create PO in Ariba system for the central team
  • Maintain the intern onboarding documents and ensure the transition to new intern 
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives

The preferred start dates are July 14th, 2025. The ideal candidate is available 4 to 5 days a week for 6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or the Google Suite, particularly Excel/Sheets (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) 
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus (Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills
• A strong interest in procurement and supply chain management
• Able to embrace challenges and performs effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Open and motivated to learn in a diverse and international environment
