Senior Principal Information Security Engineer

Position Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Information Security Engineer to lead our efforts in safeguarding our systems, networks, and data by ensuring our SecOps supports critical operations at all-times. This hands-on role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures across all domains, including data security, network security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Device Trust and more. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks. 

Responsibilities

Information Security Engineering 

• Build, implement, and operationalize solutions to ensure the security of infrastructure, applications, and systems

• Be the technical hands-on point of contact for security operations throughout the entire lifecycle of infrastructure and services, from design to runtime

• Streamline Transition of Engineering Work to Ongoing Operations 

Optimizing Security Operations 

• Develop and implement recommendations to enhance the efficiency of security operations 

• Proactively Identify operations pipeline required for across the Information Security Engineering team 

• Develop a transition pipeline and necessary processes to streamline the transition from engineering to operations

• Review and optimize resource utilization, shift management, and onboarding/offboarding processes for other security operations staff  

• Monitor and optimize the usage efficiency of existing support services

• Supervise the creation, review, and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports from SecOps team

• Ensure availability of team members during needed hours through effective shift roster management 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. 

• 15+ years of experience in information security with a focus on security engineering, data protection, enterprise security, cloud security, and security operations. 

• Proven leadership experience in building comprehensive security operations programs across domains including device security, network security, IAM, data security, security engineering and incident response.  

• Proficiency in cloud security and experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS  

• Programming and scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Ruby, Go).
