Responsibilities: Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Design, develop and support the web analytics instrumentation architecture. Develop, test, and validate new analytics data capture designs, with consideration for stakeholder reporting needs and long-term business goals. Lead the implementation of technical instrumentation through execution teams using agile and traditional project management methodologies. Serve as the technical lead to triage analytics-related issues (both in formal development and on an ad hoc basis) and share that knowledge with other partners & stakeholders. Identify opportunities to expand web analytics collection, especially related to key performance indicators in customer lifecycles. Consistently evaluate and – where necessary – refactor the analytics architecture to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and futureproofing. Build collaborative relationships with engineering and technical teams across the company, sharing best practices and identifying new integration opportunities. Increase the velocity of Web Analytics implementations by working with engineering teams. Prioritize and occasionally respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from technical stakeholders. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree* in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in an analytics-related occupation. *In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an analytics-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least three (3) years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Utilize knowledge of Automated and manual analytics validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytics data, by developing validation frameworks and conducting rigorous testing of analytics implementations to detect discrepancies and anomalies in data capture.

  • Utilize knowledge of expert level in enterprise analytics to drive the strategic development and deployment of analytics solutions, including designing and implementing robust analytics platforms, and providing insights and recommendations to influence business decisions and strategy.

  • Utilize knowledge of JavaScript web development to build and optimize analytics data collection functionalities, implementing robust and scalable solutions to capture user interactions and behaviors on web platforms including single-page applications and various CMS platforms.

Position requires at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Utilize knowledge of Data Layer architecture to design and implement efficient and scalable data models, optimizing data processing and ensuring the integrity and accessibility of analytics data.

  • Utilize knowledge of Tag governance to develop and enforce tagging standards and policies, ensuring consistency, compliance, and optimal performance of analytics tags, while minimizing redundancy and data leakage.

  • Utilize knowledge of Real-time enterprise analytics architecture design to develop and implement solutions that enable real-time data capture, processing, and analysis, facilitating timely insights and actions in response to evolving business needs.

  • Utilize knowledge of Tealium Data Hub to integrate and manage various data sources, enabling streamlined data collection, enrichment, and delivery, and optimizing data availability and usability for analytics purposes.

Salary transparency  

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $186,846 - $249,600 / year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
