System Integration and Verification Engineer

As a System Integration and Verification Engineer in the Marine Systems team you will build, integrate and validate Auterion’s platform into unmanned surface vehicles.  You will work across Auterions full technology stack bringing our state of the art autonomous vehicle solutions from the air to the sea.  You will work closely with OEMs and end users from government, military and enterprise agencies around the world to develop, test, demonstrate and deliver tactical solutions for marine operations. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Integration of the Auterion platform into new USV vehicles
• Provide onsite support for OEM integrations and customer demos
• Electromechanical integration, modification and prototyping: mechanical design, 3D printing, soldering, assembly, mounting and wiring of electronic subassemblies
• Become a subject-matter-expert on Auterion hardware and software, including Skynode, PX4, AuterionOS, Auterion Mission Control, and Auterion Suite
• Help organize our vehicle workshop to maintain an established inventory level of components and equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

• Have completed an apprenticeship in a technical profession or hold an engineering degree
• Strong experience in operating and building drones, boats and autonomous vehicles
• Experience with inventory management, 3D printing, and drone assembly
• Solid understanding of electronics and wiring, soldering, and mounting skills
• Have strong organizational skills and you are able to manage several priorities at once
• Willingness to travel and meet with end customers including into elevated risk areas.
• Bonus: Experience working with QGC and PX4 ecosystem
• Bonus: Experience with CAN bus J1939 or NMEA 2000
• Bonus: you love boats!
• CH/UK/EU citizenship required
