Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We are actively seeking an experienced and tech savvy People Operations Program Manager to join our People Operations team. This role will primarily be focused on our existing and new People technology platforms and enhancing those systems to streamline and automate our internal processes. A successful candidate will have deep subject matter expertise with our HRIS system (Workday) and be comfortable operating independently to solve problems by leveraging technology and automation.

In this role, you will

  • Ongoing maintenance of People technology including reviewing functionality, maintaining data integrity, and conducting audits/compliance checks. 
  • Responsible for project managing our upcoming system implementation of new Workday Modules for Service Delivery. 
  • Support the rollout of our Service Delivery model and help build out a new comprehensive knowledge base for the People Team. 
  • Work closely with our People Analytics leader to provide data analytics and insights support using Workday reporting and dashboards.
  • Propose and implement new approaches to using existing systems like Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp and JIRA, as well as identifying when new systems and modules might offer a more optimal solution.
  • Responsible for reviewing existing and creating new process documentation to educate  HR Generalists on new functionality.
  • Build trusted partnerships with Cross functional stakeholders to effectively collaborate on projects and initiatives. 
  • Support other program managers on the team with technology solutions and reviewing processes to maximize efficiency. 
  • Explore and evaluate new vendors that offer products and services aligned to Aurora’s goals and objectives and make recommendations for changes. 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong HR functional expertise with technology, operations, and implementations, systems, data and analytics.
  • Ability to translate business needs/requirements into technology solutions. 
  • Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Precise attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity.
  • Ability to use strategic thinking and judgment to handle complex issues and identify root causes. 
  • Desire to own and drive projects end to end and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Prior experience with project management is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $101k-$152k per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
