Job Description

Main Tasks

1) Lead local R&D project team and manage all project activities, working tasks, and AUMOVIO/JOEM milestone 
between Customer and R&D-Location (SGP)
2) Lead communication with JOEM(customer) Project Manager towards technical and scheduled topics
3) Manage local R&D team and lead Product development team (SGP etc.) to meet customer expectation and requirements 
(intercultural Bridge function)
4) Understand customer expectation/requirements correctly and convey the message to AUMOVIO organization
5) Understand both AUMOVIO and Customer organization to foresee appropriate discussion with not only customer design
department but also different customer departments(HW/SW expert team, testing team, Product planning team etc.),
Bridge Role between AUMOVIO and Customer design department as well different Customer departments
6) Establish and maintain relationship with customer and product development team (SGP etc.) key persons
(PM, TPL and SPM's)
7) Escalate critical topics to CCE/Management in timely manner 

Main Responsibilities 
1) Arrange and facilitate Project management meeting with Customer and align with Local/Product development team 
before/after the meeting with customer. 
(Critical Topics, Milestones, Reviews, Specification Release, DR/EC/VC etc. related items).
2) Clarify and follow up technical issues/questions/proposals in satisfaction of Customer and Continental.
3) Facilitate DSR (Design Study Request) topics on technical areas and collaborate with PM, Sales and R&D team.
4) Facilitate DTC (Design To Cost) topics on technical areas and collaborate with PM, Sales and R&D team.
5) Ensure Safe Delivery (sample) with Sales & PM and align parts maturity level internally and externally.
7) Share Know How/Lessons Learned from customer and our past projects to avoid similar failures.
8) Ensure key topics (Escalations, deviations etc.) are aligned and discussed internally before Customer meeting.
9) Support data exchange between Continental and Customer (both directions)
10) Support QIA (Question and Answer) discussion with customer in order to close unclear requirements
11) Join Customer Management meeting and report projects status to customer management.

Qualifications

#Japan OEM Automotive Industry experience over 5-10 years
#Japanese Language communication (N1)
# Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
# HG11 or HG10(+ 1Level up evaluation) 
+ Interior devices/ECU experience*
++ Requirement tools KnowHow (eg. Doors) *
# Key Discipline experiences (SW/ME/Electrical/Systems) 
# Capability to analyze technical problems in structured way and problem solving methods
└FTA, FMEA, 5Why, DRBFM

# Pro-active and timely respond manner
# Capable for Business trips to oversea's R&D and Production Location
# English communication and presentation
