Job Description

Do you want to be a Internship Software Test Engineer for our portfolio of electronic brake systems? These should spark your interest:

• You get the chance to investigate/test new topics every sprint;
• You will work with manual and automated tests and you get to find the balance on what to automate;
• Create, maintain and execute manual and automated Test Cases with software in the loop;
• You will be directly involved in the defining, reviewing and testing of software requirements;
• You will use both IPG SIL and vectorHIL environment to run your tests;
• You have direct contact with the developers and you get to closely collaborate on tasks;
• You can involve yourself in improvement programs (outside of the topics you are allocated on);
• You will work and learn from colleagues with a lot of experience in the automotive testing industry;
• You will have the chance to get familiar with ASPICE under the guidance of our quality experts.

Qualifications

You can be a perfect match to our team if you have:

• Testing knowledge (types of testing, testing techniques) – ISTQB Certification will be a plus;
• Basic electronics knowledge;
• Basic scripting knowledge (C or Python);
• Vector Tools knowledge will be a plus (e.g: CanOe, CanApe, vTestStudio);
• Familiar with GitHub and JAZZ/HEP;
• Analytical Thinking and problem solving skills;
• English Independent user;
• Own a positive attitude and optimism, plus a big smile;
• Ongoing Master’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. Electronics, Computer science, Automatics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Informatics);
• Knowledge of debugging technique and ability of using hardware equipment;
• Configuration management, software/test cases version control.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
