Job Description

Role Summary & Objective This position is dedicated to providing rapid R&D and validation support for localized application projects in China. Serving as a core local technical node, you will directly define and refine series production test specifications. Your goal is to verify the electrical performance and quality of sample Electronic Control Units (ECUs) produced on the Shanghai factory's mass production line within short execution cycles. By leveraging agile responsiveness to minimize lead times, you will directly ensure the successful mass production and delivery of customer samples.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Concept & Specification Definition: Modularize product test items; define detailed verification measures (test cases) to ensure Electrical/Electronic (EE) requirements are fully and correctly implemented, and verify the consistency between the ECU and the initial design.
  • Use Case & Environment Management: Author comprehensive test specifications (including test methods, Pass/Fail criteria, execution sequences, and test environment setup requirements). Draw connection diagrams between the ECU and wiring harness on the test bench, and guide factory engineers in bench troubleshooting.
  • Circuit Simulation & Calculation: Calculate and analyze the impact of parameter variations in circuits under extreme conditions (e.g., high/low temperatures) to guarantee sufficient design margins.
  • Cross-Functional & Agile Delivery: Collaborate closely with Mechanical Design, Software, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams to conduct complex, multi-disciplinary problem analysis and respond rapidly to project demands.

Qualifications

[Minimum Qualifications]

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in electronic design and/or embedded systems; or served as a core member in key hardware projects during university.
  • Foundational Knowledge: Solid fundamentals in Electrical Engineering (proficient in analog/digital circuit design); deep understanding of automotive ECU hardware circuits and underlying MCU architecture/principles.
  • Hands-on Skills: Practical experience in prototyping, debugging, and validation; proficient in using laboratory instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies).
  • Industry Insight: Deep understanding of the processes, principles, and specifications of Production Tests on automotive electronics factory lines.
  • Language & Travel: Excellent English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for seamless cross-border communication. Must be willing to travel to Europe for 3 months of systematic professional training and overseas team collaboration upon joining.

[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Full project lifecycle experience of electronic products from Proof of Concept (PoC) to Start of Production (SOP).
  • Familiarity with circuit design and product validation processes, including hands-on experience in performance verification between experimental bench analysis and factory testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, C, C++) with an automated testing mindset.
  • Strong self-motivation, high sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to continuous learning and technical deep-diving.
