Job Description

Role Summary & Objective This role will lead the setup of ECU communication network environments and signal simulation validation for local OEM application projects. You will provide critical simulation capabilities to support the local Series Test Specifications and the BUS environment for Design Validation/Product Validation (DV/PV) testing. Your work will ensure the rapid output of test validation reports, empowering agile development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication Simulation Development: Set up the ECU communication environment; lead the simulation of signals and node development for the CAN vehicle bus network.
  • Core Test Assurance: Deeply participate in and support the validation of local Series Test Specifications, as well as ensure the stability of the test environment during the DV/PV phases.
  • Tool & Protocol Application: Proficiently utilize industry-standard bus simulation and testing tools (e.g., CANalyzer) to simulate complex network environments; apply diagnostic protocols (e.g., UDS, OBD) for deep debugging of bus interaction logic.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Problem Solving: Work with local R&D and cross-functional teams (Software, Manufacturing, Reliability) to analyze and locate complex network and hardware interaction issues that arise during testing.

[Minimum Qualifications]

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in vehicle bus simulation; or served as a core member in relevant vehicular network/hardware projects during university.
  • Domain Knowledge: Exceptional understanding of vehicle communication network environments (e.g., CAN architecture and operating mechanisms); mastery of automotive diagnostic communication protocols (e.g., UDS, OBD) and their interaction logic on the bus.
  • Tools & Practical Skills: Experience with CANalyzer or similar bus simulation tools; solid electrical engineering foundation with the ability to use lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes) for debugging bus signal waveforms.
  • Language & Travel: Excellent English proficiency to meet daily cross-border project communication needs. Must be willing to travel to Europe for 3 months of systematic professional training and close collaboration with overseas teams upon joining.

  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages to write scripts for automated bus testing and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with the product validation.
  • Excellent logical analysis skills, a strong spirit of inquiry, and cross-disciplinary (hardware, software, mechanical) problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly responsible, resilient under pressure, and proactive in exploring and learning the latest automotive electronics communication and simulation technologies.
