IT Network Engineer

We're looking for an Network Engineer to join our global team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience at on-prem and cloud IT Infrastructure systems and who has worked in a large enterprise environment. As an Network Engineer, you will manage Tens of firewalls, switches, Vnets, VPC’s and more, build multi-vendor environments across AudioCodes’s clouds and on premise data centers while also having the opportunity to grow and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:

·        Manage and optimize networking in on-prem and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP and Equinix).

·        Design and implement complex network architectures for new projects, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

·        Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs

·        Implement and maintain cloud networking solutions, including Vnet’s, VPCs, VPNs, IPsec, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute and more.

·        Plan and execute network updates, upgrades, and firmware patches.

·        Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements and resolve network-related issues.

·        Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

·        Perform root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures

·        In charge of documentation and reporting by documenting network configurations, changes, and incidents, and to generate reports for analysis and

decision-making.

·        Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing and managing complex networks.

·        Proven experience managing on-premise and cloud networking environments AWS, Azure, GCP.

·        Hands-on experience with firewall appliances, virtual or physical (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).

·        Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, SNAT, DNAT, STP, etc.).

·        Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

·        Experience with managing large-scale projects, including planning, execution and documentation.

·        Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in networking.
