UI/UX Design Intern

• MetalMandi: A tech-enabled marketplace that streamlines metal scrap trading and formalizes the informal recycling sector.
• Green Metals: Supplying sustainably recovered metals to global industries, reducing dependence on virgin resources and supporting a circular economy.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes using tools such as Figma and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into design solutions.
• Conduct basic user research and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
• Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and usability standards.
• Support the design team in maintaining and updating design systems.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• B.Tech or MCA (Mandatory) — final-year students or recent graduates are welcome.
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD/Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
• Ability to present and explain design ideas clearly.
• A portfolio or sample work showcasing UI/UX projects is preferred.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe design tools.
• Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design.
• Good visual design skills including layout, typography, and color theory.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively
