We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to own and drive our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. As the solo DevOps engineer in the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure to support our e-commerce platform.
You will work closely with developers, QA, and product teams in a Scrum/Agile environment to ensure seamless releases, system reliability, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
Deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for application workloads.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI to enable fast, reliable deployments.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (and similar tools).
Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Datadog, SonarQube, and others.
Integrate DevSecOps practices, embedding security and compliance into build and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners to troubleshoot, optimize, and release features smoothly.
Document processes, best practices, and provide clear operational handovers.

Skill Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • 3–5 years of DevOps experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Proven expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration and containerization (Docker).
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and management using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (CloudFormation/Ansible is a plus).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices (security scanning, vulnerability management, policy enforcement).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole DevOps engineer.


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with automated testing in CI/CD workflows.
  • Familiarity with cost management and optimization on AWS.
  • Knowledge of incident management and disaster recovery best practices.
