BIM Engineer – Mechanical

Experience: 3+
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for HVAC ducting, plumbing, and sanitary systems
- Prepare coordinated models based on mechanical drawings and project requirements
- Perform clash detection and assist in resolving coordination issues with other disciplines
- Interpret and work from mechanical floor plans, submittals, and schedules
- Create and modify parametric Revit families for mechanical components
- Generate shop drawings and model-based deliverables
- Maintain BIM standards and follow project-specific guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and sanitary systems
- Experience in clash detection tools (Navisworks or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, submittals, and schedules
- Basic knowledge of coordination workflows in BIM projects
- Experience in parametric family creation
- Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Navisworks Manage / Navisworks Simulate
- AutoCAD
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel (for schedules and quantity take-offs)
- Exposure to international BIM standards (LOD, ISO, etc.)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
