👋 We are Attensi, a global company founded in Norway specialized in gamified simulation training. Since our inception in 2012, Attensi has grown to become a global leader in the field, with training solutions used by global brands in more than 140 countries and in 50 different languages.

We work with some of the largest professional services, consulting, hospitality, leisure retail, and pharmaceutical brands in the world including Circle K, Starbucks, BSH, Delivery Hero, Costa Coffee, The Boston Consulting Group, PwC, Novartis etc. Attensi’s team now consists of more than 250 Game Changers across our offices in Norway, UK, US, and Germany - and we’re still growing.

Would you like to use your experience as a casual or hardcore gamer to create real web games for clients?

We are on a mission to empower people to master new skills and behaviors. We achieve this by creating game changing 3D training solutions founded on the principles of simulation and gamification. We make solutions that generate real world impact!

Our Web-games team are currently working on developing new and even better web solutions and web games for the Attensi players. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of building something from the ground up and who wishes to contribute to the development of their role within the team, as well as the products. You'll have the opportunity to join Attensi on our journey into what promises to be some incredibly exciting years, all while working on what you excel at. Attensi boasts a young but strong technical community, proud that there's room for everyone—whether you prefer sneakers or slippers. The structure is flat, and the path from idea to decision and production is extremely short.

What will you do?
As a developer, coding is a significant aspect of your role, but it's not the sole responsibility. Alongside writing and reviewing code, you'll engage in activities such as planning and defining feature specifications, participating in daily Scrum activities, and collaborating with fellow developers within your team or neighboring teams. We adhere to the DevOps principle of 'You build it, you run it,' implying that developers are expected to take complete ownership of the entire lifecycle when implementing features—from code commitment to production deployment, and subsequently, monitoring for potential issues. Addressing any discovered bugs or issues is also part of this shared responsibility within the entire development team.

Who are you?
You are probably quite experienced in gaming and have an opinion on what makes a great gaming experience. As a web developer with us, you'll have the opportunity to use your experience to craft real web games for our customers. We're looking for someone who not only brings technical expertise but also a passion for creating engaging and innovative experiences. You already have a couple of years of experience as a developer and are ready to take the next step.

Most importantly, you're someone who's ready to take ownership, show initiative, and is eager to grow in your field while learning from the best in the business.

It's advantageous if you have experience in:

• Development in a modern web framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or similar)

• Development in an MVC framework (Ruby on Rails, Django, or similar)
  

It's also positive if you've dabbled in:

• CI tools like Github Actions, Travis CI, or CircleCI
• Docker
