As we look ahead, we see that Data and AI will be core to our long-term success. Hence, we are investing in our Data Platform team to provide new AI and Data Products that will power new data visualization and AI-powered analytics features across our product suite. We are now looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will be a key part of this journey by leading the Data Enginering function at Attensi. 

As our new Lead Data Engineer on the Attensi Data Platform, you will be based in Oslo - at the beating heart of our world-class Platform and Tech team. You will get the chance to approach your work with a strategic and business-oriented mindset alongside your core programming skills. You will handle the development and maintenance of the Attensi Data Platform and Data Products, which will give you the opportunity to: 

  • Be a part of the Attensi technical leadership team which handles the strategic direction and development of the Attensi Platform as a whole 
  • Accelerate your technical growth by working with the latest tech and leading developers from other disciplines in our Platform and Product teams 
  • Own the development, maintenance, and performance of Attensi’s data pipelines and products that power data visualization and AI use cases across our platform  
  • Mentor and grow new data engineering talent within our organization 

Who are you? 
You probably have 5-8 years of experience as a data engineer with a pragmatic mindset and eagerness to lead the development and direction of our Data Platform. Most importantly, you are an effective team player and eager to contribute with your knowledge to further develop the delivery of products to our customers.   

It is beneficial if you have seasoned experience in: 

  • Data management and pipeline development (AWS Glue, Python, Spark, Flink) 
  • Working with semi-structured data (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB) 
  • Working with OLTP (SQL, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB) 
  • Streaming pipelines (e.g., AWS Kinesis, AWS MSK / Kafka, Debezium) 
  • Containerized development and CI / CD (e.g., Git, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes) 
  • Cloud-based development (AWS preferred) 

You may also have experience in:  

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) 
  • DevelopingLLM application/agents (LangChain, CrewAI, Flowise, DSpy) 
  • Working with services to develop new APIs (e.g., GraphQL, Hasura, LangChain) 
  • Developing new applications and APIs (e.g. Flask, Django, FastAPI) 
  • OLAP and data warehousing (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake)
