Job Description
A client of Attain Talent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Product Development team, which focuses on delivering high-quality products to the customer base using a fast-paced Agile development model. The Sr .NET Software Engineer – Backend will participate in the design, implementation, and testing of multiple SaaS products geared toward the higher education market.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test backend components for multiple SaaS products within a fast‑paced Agile development environment.
- Build and maintain enterprise applications using .NET, C#, Web APIs, JavaScript, SQL Server, and related backend technologies.
- Develop software features involving complex business rules and requirements, ensuring high-quality, reliable functionality.
- Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable system designs and provide guidance to the development team.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support reporting and data‑driven product features.
Required Skills
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience
- Experience developing enterprise applications using the .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, Jest, Web Services/Web APIs, and SQL Server
- Experience in object-oriented design and development
- Experience with databases, SQL, stored procedures, and reporting
- Experience developing software products with complex business rules and requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals in the development of business systems and providing direction to the development team
- Demonstrable skills in problem solving and working in a fast-paced software development environment
- Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
