Description

  • Translation of business requirements into technical requirements is a key aspect of your role.

  • You are responsible for designing, enhancing, and maintaining all integrations with third-party entities.

  • Your duties include developing testing plans and procedures for different levels of integration requirements and overseeing the test plans until completion.

  • You are responsible for implementing and configuring integrations for our Middleware Platform (Mulesoft/Workato/Internal IPaaS).

  • It is essential to conduct research on best practices to uphold a stable and secure integration environment.

  • You are expected to engage in all phases of the development life cycle, oversee production APIs, and participate in a production on-call rotation schedule.

Required Skills/ Work Experience

  • Possessing robust technical expertise and over a decade of experience in designing and constructing enterprise-grade backend applications utilising microservices.

  • More than five years of pertinent Mulesoft experience, focusing on implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) - such as Salesforce.

  • Senior-level proficiency with at least one prominent programming language like Kotlin or Java is mandatory.

  • Responsible for designing and developing ESB/SOA middleware layers using tools like Mulesoft/Workato.

  • Thorough understanding of EAI/SOA best practices, development methodologies, standards, and Development using SOA/EAI solutions.

  • Skilled in Mule/Workato administration, configuration, and optimization.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting Mule ESB, including utilising debuggers, flow analyzers, and configuration tools.

  • Proficient in J2EE, JMS, EJB, Design Patterns, Web Services, and constructing integration projects using any integration tool.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of XML/SOAP/JSON message structures.

  • Proficient in utilising version control systems like Bitbucket, Github, or Gitlab, and setting up continuous integration pipelines using tools like Bamboo.

  • Previous exposure to other Integration tools like Workato will be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud platforms.

  • Certifications in Mulesoft (MCD, MCIA) and/or Workato (Automation Pro) will be beneficial.
