Overview

This position is based in Abitibi‑Témiscamingue.

Your Role

As part of the Bridges and Civil Structures Design Team, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing technical solutions, preparing design drawings, and writing technical specifications;
• Performing calculations and verifications required to ensure sound structural design;
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions;
• Supervising the work of engineers and technicians;
• Supporting project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline;
• Proficiency with bridge and civil structure design software used in Québec (Advanced Design America, CSIBridge, or SAFI);
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience;
• Ability to communicate effectively in French (spoken and written) and English;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Knowledge of project management principles will be considered an asset.

* This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, specifically English, as the role involves interactions with clients and suppliers who are primarily English‑speaking and located outside Québec.
