Your Role

• Support process engineering activities across mineral processing, pyrometallurgy, and hydrometallurgy

• Assist in developing process flowsheets, block flow diagrams (BFDs), and process design criteria

• Perform mass and energy balances and contribute to PFD and P&ID development

• Conduct basic process calculations for leaching, solution purification, metal recovery, and thermal processing

• Support equipment sizing and prepare technical datasheets under senior guidance

• Contribute to technical studies, project reports, and interdisciplinary coordination

• Assist with data analysis, vendor reviews, technical documentation, and occasional site activities

About You

• Bachelor’s, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline

• 0–3 years of relevant experience (co op, internships, or entry level roles considered)

• ability to apply fundamental knowledge of mineral processing, hydrometallurgical, and pyrometallurgical processes

• Proficiency in Excel with familiarity in process simulation tools

• Aptitude for analytical thinking, problem solving, and working collaboratively in team-based environments

Expected compensation for this role is between $60,000 - $87,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
