Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff – SMTS (UI Developer) to join our clinicals division within product engineering at our Bangalore R&D (ITPL Whitefield) office
Our athenaClinicals team builds code that matters, working on the beating heart of doctors’ workflows that is used by over 100,000 healthcare providers daily. We build the interface that makes the interactions between these providers and the electronic health record as seamless as possible, and elevates what the doctor needs to see, when they need to see it. This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by our mission to help make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance front-end applications using React.js.
· Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to implement interactive user experiences.
· Optimize front-end code for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
· Work with APIs, integrating microservices-based backends.
· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
· Debug and resolve front-end issues, ensuring seamless user experiences.
· Leverage cloud services such as AWS to enhance front-end performance and scalability.
· Implement event-driven architectures and work with streaming platforms where necessary.
· Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 5 to 9 years of experience in front-end development.
· Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
· Strong experience in working with Node.js for front-end development workflows.
· Understanding of microservices architecture and integration with front-end applications.
· Working experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
· Familiarity with AWS cloud services for front-end deployment and scaling.
· Experience with Event Streaming platforms is a plus.
· Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
· Experience with UI performance optimization techniques.
· Knowledge of security best practices in front-end development.
