Software Test Engineer

• • Strong programming and analytical capabilities with a focus on scalable test solutions.
  • AI-Augmented Testing: Leverage GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to accelerate test scenario identification, test case generation, and coverage analysis.
  • Utilise AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor AI, Claude AI and GitHub Copilot to author, review, and optimise automation scripts
  • Ability to craft precise, context-aware prompts to drive meaningful output from GenAI and AI-Assisted tools.
  • Solid understanding of Java/ Python, its core features, and best-practice coding standards.
  • Proficient in designing and executing automation test suites using Playwright/ Selenium and Appium.
  • Experienced in working with a variety of automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, BDD, POM, etc.).
  • Hands-on expertise with Maven, TestNG, Git, Cucumber, and Rest Assured for API automation.
  • Skilled in validating frontend applications and RESTful API services across functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Good exposure to Performance Testing and the Performance Concepts.
  • Well-versed in SDLC and STLC processes, including requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect triage.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data validation and backend testing.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with cross-functional engineering teams.
