Job Description:

Responsibilities 

• Participate in Joint, Geo-redundancy Resiliency Testing Planning discussions with Network System Engineers to ensure tests are designed and implemented meeting client’s requirements.
• Build close collaboration with Network System Engineers to create a detailed test design using ANT and adjacent tools portfolio of mobility traffic simulators, scripting and real device automation.
• Develop expertise with traffic simulation tools (Spirent Landslide, Load Core, Ant Open Tool) and end-to-end mobility call flows to generate traffic per AT&T’s call model.
• Start and maintain mobility traffic flows (200K+ SAU
• Monitor and analyze statistics in Grafana and logs, alerts in Kibana to detect, triage, and solve problems that are found during testing.
• Develop and certify ADO pipelines for in-service software upgrades (ISSU).
• Automate data collection and augment existing automation to check the health of Containerized Network Functions prior to and during JGRT runs.
• Drive for clarity in requirements, test steps and required validations for use during automation development.
• Create End-to-End (E2) test cases and post-validation templates using ANT.
• Collaborate with platform teams, testers and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot automation, tooling and mobility infrastructure networks.
• Participate in script lifecycle management; development, delivery, deployment, updates, defect management.

Basic Qualifications

• Working experience in creation and maintenance of Azure and Azure DevOps (ADO) concepts including specific experience with:
  • Demonstrated ability to develop ADO Pipelines from the ground up (particularly yaml expressed pipelines)
  • Demonstrated use of az cli commands within ADO Pipelines as a method to interact with Azure Resources.
  • Comprehension of the purpose and limitations of ADO agents
• Comfort with ADO and GitHub repos and expanding understanding not only to the purpose but more specifically on branching and tagging methods to optimize code stored in repositories to handle the different environments.
• Understanding the capabilities of Azure Keyvault (AKV) and HashiCorp Vault (HCEV)
• 3+ Years of experience in K8s, Azure, Azure Dev Ops
• Demonstrable ability to extract data from Prometheus and create Grafana dashboards.
• Demonstrable ability to extract data from Kibana via UI and API.
• Experience with ML and Anomaly detection, and interest in these areas.
• Ability to articulate concepts, solutions, and standards to members of the project with various levels of skills sets through presentations and/or discussions.
• 3+ Years of experience in LTE/5G core network testing and development.
• Good Knowledge of LTE/5G Core Network and Call Flows and 3GPP standards.
• Proficient in Python development with 3+ years of experience. 
• 3+ Years of experience working with Regular Expressions (RegEx).
• Hands on experience developing and maintaining automation scripts following Object Oriented Programming principles.
• Good working knowledge of Linux, IP Networks and Wireshark.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Agile testing methodologies and best practices, use of Jira.
• Interest in learning new tools and technologies.
• Great communication skills (written and oral) and intercultural communication abilities
• Must have a win as one attitude, ability to work as a team to accomplish projects on time with quality. 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an approved fields for Member of Technical Staff Designation as defined by TCP Program.
