JOB TITLE: Senior System Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Translate the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution consisting of platform, network, and software solutions. Utilize functional, performance, and reliability analysis and use engineering models and techniques. Perform software development throughout the vertical stack. Deliver applications and services. Design, develop, document, and analyze technology systems. Maximize the reuse of target state platforms including API, data fabric, and data routers platforms. Integrate hardware and software solutions to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinate the design, specification, and integration of total systems and subsystems. Assess proof of concepts and recommend solutions including algorithms and products to improve current systems. Implement automated utilities by capturing Fiddler trace, HTTP Watch sessions, browser logs, and response time of actions performed on the application to validate the captured data with the data injected in Dynatrace for application flow. Assess the customer experience by developing performance test scripts using Akamai SOASTA, LoadRunner, and JMETER. Conduct high load performance test executions using Performance Center and Rainmaker tools. Evaluate the quality and relevance of a web pages including loading speed and layout, content using Lighthouse via the Node module. Monitor and optimize the performance of digital applications, services, and infrastructure using Dynatrace. Resolve issues prior to the production go live. Conduct performance test executions for on-premises and hybrid environments by automating flows and integrating with CI/CD frameworks. Extract payloads using ELK logs and visualize performance metrics from Kubernetes. Create epics and features in Azure and develop user stories for sprints in JIRA iTrack. Monitor Microservice pods during high scale performance test executions using Kubernetes dashboards. Identify gaps and anomalies and provide root cause analysis for identified issues. Log defects from identification through closure in CDEX.       

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution consisting of platform, network, and software solutions; performing software development throughout the vertical stack; designing, developing, documenting, and analyzing technology systems; integrating hardware and software solutions to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs; coordinating the design, specification, and integration of total systems and subsystems; assessing the customer experience by developing performance test scripts using Akamai SOASTA, LoadRunner, and JMETER; conducting high load performance test executions using Performance Center and Rainmaker tools; evaluating the quality and relevance of a web pages including loading speed and layout, content using Lighthouse via the Node module; monitoring and optimizing the performance of digital applications, services, and infrastructure using Dynatrace; extracting payloads using ELK logs and visualizing performance metrics from Kubernetes; creating epics and features in Azure and developing user stories for sprints in JIRA iTrack; monitoring Microservice pods during high scale performance test executions using Kubernetes dashboards; and logging defects from identification through closure in CDEX.
