POSITION:                 Senior System Engineer

JOB LOCATION:       208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Senior System Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to deliver groundbreaking solutions that provide intuitive and integrated experiences for millions of customers across online, retail and care channels. Support systems that deliver AT&T’s customer experience, across multiple internet-facing eCommerce applications, databases, platforms, and technology stacks. Analyze production alerts and dashboards to identify customer impacting outages. Examine system health status to identify issues that will lead to a customer impacting production outage. Evaluate upcoming projects and existing production monitoring to ensure applications have proper production monitoring to capture customer impacting outages. Quantify customer impacts of production outages, to ensure the proper level of support is provided on critical issues. Provide 24x7 production support, first level trouble shooting of incidents, and outage responses. Provide application performance monitoring, dashboarding, troubleshooting, and corrective actions. Optimize existing alerts to ensure false alarms are continuously reduced, while improving the accuracy of the alerts. Support incident management and problem management. Engage resources in high severity production outages. Perform production support for mission critical, and high-performance applications including telecom and eCommerce. Build cross-organizational consensus across operations, product delivery, infrastructure and business stakeholders. Work on incident management and incident response on a Tier 1 production operations teams. Deploy cloud and other networks that deliver digital products to employees and customers. Develop and implement customer journey dashboards to enable proactive monitoring of customer experience availability. Work in operations practices. Increase operational capability maturity within an organization. Network and troubleshoot utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure Cloud and Unix. Create dashboards on Dynatrace, ELK, and Grafana. Utilize customer experience analytics tools including Quantum Metric and Tealeaf. Utilize visualization tools like Kibana and Grafana. Debug java log and microservices log. Utilize EFK stack. Utilize Dynatrace, Catchpoint, and Nagios.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation building cross-organizational consensus across operations, product delivery, infrastructure and business stakeholders; working on incident management and incident response on a Tier 1 production operations teams; deploying cloud and other networks that deliver digital products to employees and customers; developing and implementing customer journey dashboards to enable proactive monitoring of customer experience availability; working in operations practices; increasing operational capability maturity within the organization; networking and troubleshooting; utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure Cloud and Unix; utilizing customer experience analytics tools including Quantum Metric and Tealeaf; creating dashboards on Dynatrace, ELK, and Grafana; utilizing visualization tools like Kibana and Grafana; debugging java log and microservices log; utilizing EFK stack; and utilizing Dynatrace, Catchpoint, and Nagios.

Our Senior System Engineers earn between $145,000 - $210,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
