JOB TITLE:                Senior System Engineer

JOB LOCATION:      208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX  75202 (and various unanticipated locations

throughout the US; may work from home)

DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Senior System Engineer in Dallas, TX (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) responsible for translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques. Design, develop, document, and analyze technology systems, maximizing reuse of target state platforms: APO, data fabric and data routers platforms. Engineer integrated hardware and software solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs. Coordinate design, specification, and integration of total systems and subsystems. Assess and recommend solutions to improve the current systems. Support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects, validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Responsible for designing and implementing test plans and strategies, writing and executing test cases, identifying and creating defects and managing them through final resolution. Work closely with business stakeholders, development and architects across teams to identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinate the testing efforts. Analyze test results and metrics, prepare and present test status reports on a regular basis. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies. Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Utilize Java, JSP, J2ee, Git and AWS. Utilize Chef and Puppet. Utilize Scrum and SQL. Utilize Kibana (ELK Logs), Dynatrace and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting. Utilize SCRUM/Agile, and DevOps methodology.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing APO, data fabric and data routers platforms; utilizing Java, JSP, J2ee, Git and AWS; utilizing Chef and Puppet; utilizing Scrum and SQL; utilizing Kibana (ELK Logs), Dynatrace and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting; and utilizing SCRUM/Agile, and DevOps methodology.

Our Senior System Engineers earn between $150,000 - $231,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
