JOB TITLE:                Senior-Software Engineer

JOB LOCATION:       208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202 (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home)

DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Senior-Software Engineer in Dallas, TX (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) to lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Provide functional and technical leadership and mentor junior software engineers. Work with other Lead Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs of systems based on priority. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment and production support. Implement, maintain, and update CICD pipelines. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, automation, configuration management and compliance. Build omnichannel services that supports high volume and low latency transactions. Utilize Java, Spring and REST; performing architecture and design of systems using Microservices architecture; utilizing cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef and Terraform; and utilizing GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar. Utilize Cassandra, SOLR, MongoDB.

REQUIREMENTS:    Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate in a related occupation utilizing Java, Spring and REST; performing architecture and design of systems using Microservices architecture; utilizing cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef and Terraform; utilizing GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar; and utilizing Cassandra, SOLR, MongoDB.
