JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

REMOTE TYPE: Virtual Worker

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St. Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Lead a specific product team in developing new capabilities for our business use cases. Coordinate across multiple product teams to ensure optimal implementations and reuse across the platform. Drive efforts to architect, design, develop, and implement technology-enabled business and technical information solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies. Research, analyze and recommend new enhancements, rationalization opportunities, standard processes, tools and techniques to further the firm’s application and enterprise technology architecture strategies. Review business process and technical solution designs to help ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies. Provide functional and technical leadership to other members of the product team. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management and compliance. Use real-time analytics, NoSQL data stores, machine learning, data modeling and data management, analytical tools, languages, or libraries. Utilize Service Oriented Architecture, Continuous Event Processing Platform Architectures, nTier J2EE applications. Implement JAVA/J2EE technologies including Servlets, JSP, RMI, JMS, JDBC, JSON, Multithreading, Collections, Serialization, Spring MVC, Spring core, Spring AOP, REST/ SOAP, web services Exception handling. Utilize J2EE design patterns (Singleton, MVC Pattern, and Factory Pattern, Angular Js, Spring batch, spring boot, AJSC microservice, core java, mongodb, mongodb atlas, Jenkins, log4j, maven, cosmos DB, Apache, tomcat, wildfly, JBOSS, Kafka, and Microsoft Azure). Use Agile methodologies (SCRUM and KANBAN). Develop a restful microservice, angular JS for front end GUI, sprint boot rest service, spring batch back end processing jobs.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation using real-time analytics, NoSQL data stores, machine learning, data modeling and data management, analytical tools, languages, and libraries; utilizing Service Oriented Architecture, Continuous Event Processing Platform Architectures, nTier J2EE applications; implementing JAVA/J2EE technologies including Servlets, JSP, RMI, JMS, JDBC, JSON, Multithreading, Collections, Serialization, Spring MVC, Spring core, Spring AOP, REST/ SOAP, web services Exception handling; utilizing J2EE design patterns (Singleton, MVC Pattern, and Factory Pattern, Angular Js, Spring batch, spring boot, AJSC microservice, core java, mongoDB, mongoDB atlas, Jenkins, log4j, maven, cosmos DB, Apache, tomcat, wildfly, JBOSS, Kafka, and Microsoft Azure); using Agile methodologies (SCRUM and KANBAN); and developing a restful microservice, angular JS for front end GUI, sprint boot rest service, spring batch back end processing jobs.

Our Senior Software Engineers earn between $152,570 - $231,200 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
