As a Senior Network Technology Support, you will be targeted for a subject matter expert (SME) which will be responsible for providing intermediate technical support of the Classic and Cloud Radio Access Network (RAN). Reporting, tracking, documenting, and driving various support groups - to include ATS and/or OEM vendors - is an essential skill for this position to diagnose, restore, and accurately report on network events.  Primary expertise with remote triage/restoral, prioritization, performance analysis, report analysis, RCA analysis and outage event bridge participation for RAN technologies. This role provides input to action plans that mitigate network impact.  You will also be responsible for assisting with mentoring newer Tier 2 team members with processes and policies as well as technical training. Key contributor in Tier 2 special projects - develop and test tools, write new processes and job aids.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ticket management.  Advanced support engagement and follow up.

• Daily fault troubleshooting and performance troubleshooting.

• Field personnel technical support.

• Technical project assignments with technical writing experience.

• Evaluate network impact and recommend or take recovery action in collaboration with peer team.

• Technical bulletin review, interpretation, and presentation to the team.

• RAN Network audits and analysis.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work any shift to provide 24x7 network support.

• Primary location Atlanta, GA.

• Candidate MUST have extensive level experience troubleshooting, maintaining, configuring, provisioning, and supporting Ericsson RAN equipment (4G = eNodeB, 5G = gNodeB).

• Fundamental understanding of Cloud related concepts such as Kubernetes(K8), VNF & Orchestration is required.

• The candidate is familiar with Linux and comfortable working on software applications using Linux.

• The candidate is familiar with common security UAM protocols such as TACACS and LDAP.

• Trained and competent in the use of RF relate performance tools (Arieso, Optima…).

• Coding and programming skills are a plus.

Desired Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering (preferred), or equivalent related network experience preferred.

Our Senior Network Technology Support earns between $94,300 - $141,500 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
