POSITION:                 Senior-Big Data Software Engineer

JOB LOCATION:      2900 W. Plano Pkwy. Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Produce batch and real time data pipelines for our network and NLP based use cases for our data scientists and other developers. Develop deep domain expertise and opportunities to expand your role into additional facets of data insights including modeling, extensive cloud-based environment architecting, and software development. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in distributed, large-scale analytics, and visualization solutions. Work in a highly agile environment. Responsible for the development of high performance and distributed computing tasks using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, text mining, and other distributed environment technologies in azure and on-prem. Work on Hadoop administration, Apache NiFi support, and Databricks workspace administration. Support the Network Intelligence Data Collect, AI Team, and their business partners. Responsible for automation of infrastructure using CICD/ansible or comparable technologies in Azure cloud. Set up secure vents and core infrastructure components in Azure. Work on UNIX administration. Support the Network Intelligence Flowlogic Hadoop clusters and Databricks workspaces that collects the mobile packet data via the network probes. Manage the core ingestion NiFi servers and support the platforms teams with all things azure. Responsible for automation of infrastructure using CICD/ansible. Set up secure vents and core infrastructure components in Azure. Address and support azure admin and Databricks related issues for various in house and offshore teams. Support the Network Intelligence Data & AI applications that collects the mobile packet data via the network probes. Act as expert Azure Security Engineer responsible for setting up secure vents and core infrastructure components in Azure. Address and support Azure admin and Databricks related issues for various in house and offshore teams. Work with NIT Platforms management in Azure Cloud and plays the role of a Strategy lead for our 5G implementation of NIT platforms. Apply experience using and administrating Databricks workspaces. Apply experience with Azure cloud administration and subscription management. Communicate with all levels of management. Understand business requirements. Define project roadmaps. Apply Big Data experience. Apply experience with running Agile Scrums and different Agile Methodologies. Apply experience with program management or leadership communications work. Migrate and build Data and AI applications in Azure Cloud using services including Databricks, Azure Delta Lake, and Snowflake. Apply knowledge in 5G Architecture/3GPP standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying experience using and administrating Databricks workspaces; applying experience with Azure cloud administration and subscription management; communicating with all levels of management; understanding business requirements; defining project roadmaps; applying Big Data experience; applying experience with running Agile Scrums and different Agile Methodologies; applying experience with program management and leadership communications work; migrating and building Data and AI applications in Azure Cloud using services including Databricks, Azure Delta Lake, and Snowflake; and applying knowledge in 5G Architecture/3GPP standards.

Our Senior-Big Data Software Engineer’s earn between $157,352 - $215,800 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
