As a Lead Software Engineering, you will be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to gather and review user stories, provide estimates, design solution, and approach and collaborate with engineers/architects

• Execute development methodology through use of engineering platforms, application of programming languages, utilization of software engineering pipelines, and use of best practices

• Create, automate, and execute test plans in alignment with requirements.  Prepare test data and configure environments, coordinate fixes, and validate outcomes against expected results.  Cover security testing, interface and integration testing, end-to-end and/or user acceptance testing

• Support applications including analysis of data and solves configuration and environment issues.  Supports the software deployment process

Required Experience:

• 5-8 years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

Required Qualifications:

• 5 + years’ experience with SQL, Python, and Spark

• 2 years working Azure or AWS

• 5 + years’ experience with git (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, BitBucket)

Desired Qualifications:

• 5 + years’ experience with Databricks and familiarity with security scans

Desired Education:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred

Our Lead Software Engineering earn between $143,800 - $215,800 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
