JOB TITLE: Lead Big Data Software Engineering

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Develop robust authentication and authorization methods and formulate comprehensive disaster recovery plans. Deliver high-performance big data products. Utilize WiFi and Fiber network knowledge to drive projects and inform the development and analytics of big data with a focus on residential gateway related datasets. Implement supervised and unsupervised machine learning for pattern analytics and predictions. Employ GenAI techniques for automation and analytics. Provide leadership in technical innovation by leveraging new technologies and creating proof of concepts. Perform, test, and debug cloud infrastructures. Optimize performance and costs for all computing resources. Manage day-to-day work and deliverables. Develop, test, debug and tune utilizing Spark, AKS, API, Databricks, Lakehouse, Azure, EventHub, Python, R, SQL, machine learning, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, PowerBI, and Tableau. Conduct risk easement and meet enterprise compliance requirements. Define project roadmaps and lead big data product development. Design complex architectures: large-scale analytics visualization solutions and ML solutions. Implement performance optimization and cost reduction strategies.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation utilizing WiFi and Fiber network knowledge to drive projects and inform the development and analytics of big data with a focus on residential gateway related datasets; defining project roadmaps and leading big data product development; designing complex architectures: large-scale analytics visualization solutions and ML solutions; implementing performance optimization and cost reduction strategies; performing, testing, and debugging cloud infrastructures; developing, testing, debugging and tuning utilizing Spark, AKS, API, Databricks, Lakehouse, Azure, EventHub, Python, R, SQL, machine learning, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, PowerBI, and Tableau; implementing supervised and unsupervised machine learning for pattern analytics and predictions; and employing GenAI techniques for automation and analytics.
