Lead Product Owner – Professional Development Platform

The Platform

This platform identifies professional skills from the systems employees use in their daily work, maps their current proficiency levels, and recommends relevant learning opportunities. It serves developers, engineers, data professionals, and an expanding range of non-technical roles. The platform is built on analytics and AI to deliver personalized recommendations.

The Role

You will be the Product Owner for this platform. You will define what we build, ensure it is delivered correctly, and own how it is communicated to users.

This is an individual contributor position with broad responsibility. You will work with a cross-functional team of approximately 20 people, including developers, designers, data engineers and analysts, tech leads, and a project manager. The role also involves collaboration with US-based product managers and stakeholders.

The work is hands-on. You will write detailed requirements, draft user communications, script release videos, conduct acceptance testing, build dashboards, and track deliverables across the team. You’ll guide execution with a strong focus on quality, scalability and precision.

Decisions are made collaboratively. You will work as an equal alongside technical and design leads. We prioritize evidence over opinion and expect a professional collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

Product Definition and Delivery

• Write detailed requirements for frontend, backend, and data teams

• Prioritize features with stakeholders both in Israel and the US

• Collaborate daily with UX/UI, tech, and data leads from concept through release

• Conduct user acceptance testing

User Communication

• Own all product communications: emails, in-app messages, FAQs, and user guides

• Develop scripts and concepts for release videos

Analytics

• Collaborate on dashboards creation, but read data independently using tools such as Mixpanel and Power BI

• Define OKRs and KPIs for each planning cycle and track progress

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis for roadmap suggestions

Coordination

• Maintain project trackers and ensure deliverables stay on schedule

• Work with technical support to understand user issues and incorporate feedback

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager

• Experience working on data-driven and AI-powered products

• Track record of close collaboration with UX/UI designers and technical leads throughout the product lifecycle

• Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Power BI, or equivalent)

• Exceptional written and spoken English at near-native level

• High attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• User-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate how users will experience a product

• Collaborative working style with preference for evidence-based decisions

• Experience working with technical support

• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development and architecture

• Experience leveraging AI to improve product discovery, execution and decision-making

Strong Advantages

• Background in Learning and Development, instructional design, or EdTech

• Experience building products focused on professional growth or learning

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud environments
