Job Description:

Overview

Directs a team of one or more IT organizations which targets 6 or more IT employee direct reports typically with Associate Directors and a total org size of 50 or more. Span may be smaller if this is a high level strategic IT position that has overarching responsibilities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and delivery of IT related work relative to the technical sub-families including Agile, Application Design and Programming, Business Support, Database, Systems Architecture and Engineering, Systems Technical Support, and Technical Discipline of Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt.
• Provides leadership and sets strategy to support IT work including working with client organizations and stakeholders to evaluate business process changes and plan the implementation of those changes.
• Works with other staff and members of leadership to design and develop business strategies necessary for the forward progress of technology and related organizational operations. Administrative responsibilities include development of subordinates, force budgeting and allocation, financial responsibilities such as budget preparation and tracking, and business case coordination with clients, capital expenses and governance.
• Supervises and develops a team of subordinates, conducts joint goal setting and performance reviews, as well as assists in the allocation of resources, financial responsibilities and some long-range planning.

Education (Preferred)

• MS degree in Information Technology or related field.

Experience

• Requires at least ten years' experience and supervisory experience.

A Director Technology earns between $191,400.00 - $287,200.00 USD Annual, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
